What Phoenixa Coach is

Phoenixa Coach is an AI goal and life-organization tool for adults. It is not human and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency response, legal advice, or financial advice. The interface identifies the coach as AI and requires adult confirmation.

Current safety protocol

  1. User messages are screened by an automated safety system before response generation.
  2. Potential self-harm or suicide content receives a dedicated response prioritizing immediate safety, 911 or the nearest emergency department, U.S. 988, moving away from means of harm, and contacting a trusted person.
  3. Other high-risk requests—including violence, exploitation, dangerous conduct, and attempts to bypass safeguards—are refused and redirected toward safer support.
  4. Generated answers are screened again before they are shown.
  5. The coach’s instructions prohibit diagnosis, treatment, medication changes, emotional dependency, secrecy, manipulation, and harmful instructions.
  6. Rate limits and authenticated access reduce automated abuse.

Important limitations

Automated detection can miss risk, misunderstand context, or make mistakes. Phoenixa does not continuously monitor users, know their location for rescue, contact emergency services, or guarantee that a safety response will appear. Do not wait for Phoenixa Coach when someone may be in danger.

Minors

The current beta is restricted to adults 18 and older. A user must confirm age before entering the beta and before using Phoenixa Coach. Suspected use by a minor should be reported through Support.

Reporting a safety concern

If Phoenixa Coach produces unsafe, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, threatening, or otherwise harmful content, stop following the response and report it through the Support page. Include what happened without adding unnecessary sensitive information.

Review and improvement

Safety incidents and user reports should be reviewed to improve prompts, moderation, crisis language, access restrictions, and product design. The protocol will be updated as the beta changes and before any unrestricted or paid launch.
